Our Linen
Our range is made with 100% long-staple combed cotton sourced globally by a state-of-the-art spinning mill in India. The selection of raw cotton is vital to spin the finest yarns, which in turn enables weavers to create strong but smooth and soft fabrics. Equally important is the attention we give to cutting and stitching.
We currently use three core fabrics – a cotton percale with a thread count of 320 per 10 sq cms and two variations of cotton sateen – one with a thread count of 650, and the highest quality at 900. Percale is a closely woven soft fabric with a crisper feel than the silky smooth sateen. Our fabrics use some of the finest cotton yarn available commercially today.
Percale is available in two enduring styles: CLASSIC, with a simple satin stitch line for a clean modern look and LADDERSTITCH which employs a more traditional decorative technique. The 650 sateen comes in a subtle HEMSTITCH style and the 900 sateen in the CLASSIC style. Our styles and colours evolve every season. (See the images below for detail). Click here for sizes.
While many people ask for the highest thread count available, it alone is not an adequate measure of quality. It’s a matter of personal preference and feel, and some brands provide very misleading information.
